What is apt•PACKAGE?
apt•PACKAGE is an innovative, efficient and secure software and hardware solution for condominiums and apartment buildings to manage the incoming packages and deliveries for their residents. apt•PACKAGE uses a combination of modern technology such as a 2d barcode reader, digital signature pad, touch screen monitor and a text message/email resident notification to increase speed, reliability, professionalism and convenience.
In addition, apt•PACKAGE provides the building with a safe and reliable method of storing and later retrieving the package collection signatures should a dispute with a resident or delivery company arise.
Key Features:
- Decodes PDF-417 barcodes to automatically retrieve resident information, and minimize user input. For non PDF-417 barcodes, the barcode reader retrieves the tracking number.
- Touch screen application for quick data entry when automatic barcode entry is not an option (such as dry cleaning drop off).
- Sends optional customizable text message and email notifications to residents.
- Digital signature entered and stored for any delivery released to an authorized resident in case a dispute arises later on.
- Away message alerts the user when resident is out of town, and package needs to go into long term storage.
